Jamie Thorpe - Head of Commercial Relations for Measurement, Grass Roots
Jamie has spent his working life within the Mystery Shopping and Research industry. With over 15 years experience his expertise has been developed by working in the key operational areas of measurement and performance improvement.
Prior to joining Grass Roots, Jamie spent a significant proportion of his career at a retail research specialist focussing on measurement in the retail market. As Client Service Director and a board member, Jamie’s remit was wide which included department head and key client management liaison.
Jamie has extensive experience within the Market Research industry and its governing bodies. He has been involved with Mystery Shopping on a global level for nearly 10 years and was an integral part of a team that founded a now Worldwide Mystery Shopping Alliance and has several years’ experience working and networking with commercial organisations and industry bodies across the world. He holds a key regional position for the MSPA Europe representing the UK and Ireland.
Jamie’s current role at Grass Roots encompasses client/commercial relationships, marketing, key account direction and business development. Involved in performance improvement across retail, financial, telecoms, automotive and leisure, his sector experience is broad with the clients’ common desire to understand, measure and improve the experiences of their customers. Success is often achieved through the complimentary usage of Customer Satisfaction Surveys and Mystery Shopping techniques.
