Jon Puleston - Vice President of GMI Interactive
Jon is Vice President of GMI Interactive, part of the GMI group based in London. GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.) is an online research and technology provider headquartered in Seattle, USA. His team specialises in the design of interactive surveys and developing specialist technology for conducting interactive online research.
He was formerly the founding director of Media Intelligence, a research technology business purchased by GMI, that developed the industry’s first ever Flash survey authoring software and pioneered techniques such as virtual shopping, clicktesting, online dial testing and virtual publication surveys.
Over the last 3 year he has been conducting extensive research investigating techniques to improve panel engagement using interactive research techniques and more creative approaches to online survey design. He has published 3 papers on this topic and is a regular speaker at conferences on this topic. Currently he is working on idea generation methodology and game theory, exploring more creative ways to stimulate feedback from online respondents.
He has a background in media marketing spanning 15 years, working across outdoor, newspapers and television media. Jon studied Physics at Bristol University.
