Michalis Michael - Founder and Managing Director, DigitalMR
Michalis Michael is the Founder and Managing Director of London and Nicosia headquartered DigitalMR Ltd: the first ‘holistic’ digital market research specialist. His particular expertise entails social media research and marketing strategy. Michalis has extensive experience in banking, FMCG, retail, healthcare, telecomms and the automotive industry and has worked with numerous blue chip companies including Nestle, Coca Cola, Novartis, Citigroup and Saxo Bank.
He started the global online consumer panel division of Synovate out of Chicago in 2005. Michalis then joined RGIS, the global leader in inventory services, where he headed the Retail Services Division. Michalis is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and received their International Legacy Award in 2005. He also sits on the YPO International Education and IT Steering Committees. He is a member of the board of Mentoring AG a Greek consulting company, and MASMI UK, a multinational research organisation.
Michalis is a leading consultant on social media strategy who works with high-profile and multinational blue chip companies. His expertise extends across a range of key industries, providing audiences with a comprehensive, business-focused perspective. He received his business training at Harvard Business School and the London Business School. His multilingual skills allow him to present in English, German and Greek.
