Niall Smith - Head of Research, Expertise and Development
Niall joined FreshMinds as Head of Research, Expertise and Development
in 2010 following senior positions with boutique agencies JRA Research
in Nottingham, and PCP in York. With over 10 years' experience in
Market Research, Niall has worked with the full spectrum of private and
public sector clients on projects that cover pretty much every
conceivable brief. In his role as Head of RED at FreshMinds, Niall
oversees all aspects of research and internal process, and is
responsible for driving the business forward in terms of research
excellence.
Niall's particular passion is for quantitative research, and for
debunking the myth that this side of market research is stale, dry or
unexciting. "Quant research has the power to be transformative in a
business, but results are all too often left to moulder on the shelf
because the agency has failed to explain them well enough, to motivate
the client."
