After graduating in Business Studies from Kingston upon Hull Business School Robert was recruited by KPMG where he worked as a management/systems accountant and consultant. A solid first career as a management accountant ensued including roles with Hallmark and GEC Alsthom until Welsh Water offered him the role of Finance Director for their consulting practice at age 28. Fearing he would enter into a comfort zone from which he was unlikely to ever resurface, he jumped ship from the corporate world and joined a Manchester based .com start up in 1998. The company grew from five to four hundred and fifty people and Robert enjoyed the experience of living and working in Cannes and Phoenix AZ.

Late 1999 Robert moved back from the US to start Bunnyfoot, the UK’s largest User Experience consultancy. Robert has to date spun out two companies from Bunnyfoot; Acuity ETS, the World’s largest reseller of Tobii eye trackers and Think Eye Tracking a research company dedicated to demonstrating the benefits of eye tracking to research agencies and consumers of market research.
