Irish broadcaster UTV Media has acquired social media monitoring specialist Simply Zesty from its founders Niall Harbison and Lauren Fisher, and from MR firm SPA Future Thinking which held a stake in the business. The deal is valued at up to £5m.
RadiumOne Raises $50m, Launches Content Sharing App

In the US, social media ad targeting specialist RadiumOne is said to be closing a $50m investment round, and has launched Via.me, a new app for iPhone and desktop. The latter allows users to manage their output and content across multiple social networks.
Bazaarvoice Aims for $90m IPO

US-based word-of-mouth specialist Bazaarvoice has announced it is to launch an initial public offering (IPO) of approximately 9.4 million shares, 9 million of which will have a target price range of between $8 and $10, with a further 484,000 offered by existing shareholders.
