Canadian polling, MR and strategy firm Leger has appointed long-time Ipsos exec Paul Lauzon as Senior Vice President in its Vancouver officer, with a focus on lottery and gaming research.
Leger, which employs more than 600 employees in eight Canadian and US offices, offers MR and specialized studies, online panel solutions, analytics and customer experience services. Lauzon (pictured) is a lottery and gaming research specialist, who joins after more than 23 years at Ipsos. In 1997 he joined the Angus Reid Group (acquired by Ipsos in 2000) as Senior Research Manager in the Travel and Lottery research team, and later became SVP and MD of Ipsos' Lottery and Gaming practice. During his time with the company, he was involved with and responsible for most of Ipsos' lottery and gaming segmentation studies, the development of tracking programs and product testing initiatives, and spearheading the development of a scratch ticket testing model and simulator.
In his new position, Lauzon will work to further expand Leger's lottery and gaming expertise in North America, leading a research team and providing thought leadership, consulting expertise and advice to clients on gaming behaviour, attitudes and preferences. Steve Mossop, EVP Vancouver, comments: 'Paul is a great addition to our team, having conducted thousands of projects for clients in the lottery and gaming space. He's also a great leader and subject expert who will bring considerable value to our clients'.
