Media behavior analyst HyphaMetrics has appointed former Comscore Chief Commercial Officer Chris Wilson as its new Chief Executive, to lead the next phase of the company's growth and expansion strategy. He replaces co-founder Joanna Drews, who is now company President.
New York-based HyphaMetrics specializes in measuring media at the individual level, using artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze and optimize advertising and video content. Wilson (pictured) joins from Comscore, where he spent seven years, following six years as President of the TV Division at Rentrak, acquired by Comscore in 2016. Earlier he was President & CEO of LogicLab, and he held senior roles at Experian Research Services, and at Simmons Market Research Bureau.
Drews comments: 'Chris's addition to the leadership team at Hypha comes at the perfect time. Chris has built a reputation in the industry as a true visionary through forward-thinking, innovative market strategies, and the ability to stay ahead of the media industry's evolution - qualities that align perfectly with the Hypha ethos'.
