Job Spec: This research and strategy consultancy use sophisticated research techniques. They are seeking an enthusiastic SRE with a very strong aptitude for strategic thinking to work with on projects that inform the corporate strategies of high-profile businesses and public bodies across nearly all major sectors.
You will carry out projects to answer questions like:
- 'How can our business understand and respond to wider political / social / commercial trends?'
- 'How should we change our policies, comms, or overall business strategy to better suit these trends?'
- 'What would we need to change to convince our wide range of stakeholder audiences that we are a responsible and successful organisation?'
- 'How can we improve our latest sustainability / responsibility campaign?'
- 'What is our next big opportunity or reputational risk?'
These projects will usually rely on primary research carried out on key trends and market dynamics among core audiences such as senior stakeholders, policy makers, industry specialists, or members of the public so you will already have qualitative and/or quantitative market research experience from an agency enviornment.
You'll have a demonstrable ability to understand and summarise how organisations must adapt to a changing operating environment and be able to show that you are comfortable using evidence to back this up. You must have outstanding written skills and a strong interest in current affairs.
You will work in small client teams, and will be supported and trained by more senior colleagues. This is a highly inclusive environment and you will enjoy actively participating in team discussions at both planning and analysis stages and contributing to the development of research conclusions. With an energetic and adaptable approach, you will be keen to join their thriving team as it continues to expand into new areas while maintaining its reputation for intelligent and insightful research.
