Job Spec: Our client is a London based International Fieldwork Agency, and they are looking for a Client Services Manager who will play a critical role in leading pre-sales client interactions and overseeing the bidding process.
This position is designed for a candidate who excels in consultative sales and thoroughly understands UK & international market research fieldwork. The role requires a hands-on approach to guide the bidding team and drive revenue growth by delivering tailored research solutions that align with the needs and objectives of the global client base.
Key responsibilities:
- Client engagement and strategic sales/account management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key client interactions, fostering strong relationships and understanding their needs in order to propose the most effective solutions.
- Employ consultative sales techniques to guide and influence client decisions towards optimal research outcomes.
- Bid management and support:
- Lead and actively participate in the creation and submission of bids, ensuring they are aligned with both client goals and the company's capabilities
- Provide direct support to the bidding team, ensuring all members are working efficiently and are motivated to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Global market insight and client advice:
- Leverage a strong grasp of global research markets and cultural differences across countries to enhance client proposals across various sectors
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering solutions that are informed by an acute understanding of qualitative research.
- Revenue goals and team leadership:
- Work closely with the directors to set and achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Foster a team environment focused on high performance and continuous improvement.
- Marketing and Outreach:
- Work with the marketing team to communicate successes, capabilities, and insights through various channels to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
What you'll bring:- Proven success in consultative sales/bidding/account management within market research qualitative fieldwork .
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a small team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of geopolitical factors and industry-specific trends that influence market research.
Please note, in order to be considered for this role, you need to be based in the UK, and be able to commute 3 days per wk to the London office, and have a valid working permit. And clearly have strong Bidding experience and understanding of International Fieldwork.
