Suzy is seeking an innovative and experienced VP, Product Marketing and Customer Lifecycle to lead our go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and drive product adoption through a deep understanding of the customer journey. In this pivotal role, you will oversee not only the development of marketing materials across core & new products to drive revenue but also usage and adoption, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our customers. By employing customer segmentation strategies, you will shape campaigns and work cross-functionally to set up true product-led growth initiatives. This role will blend product marketing expertise with a deep focus on customer lifecycle management, ensuring our products resonate from launch, adoption and continued usage and growth.

This role reports directly to the EVP, Marketing & Communications and works closely with senior leadership across the company, including the Chief Product & Technology Officer and President. It is a critical leadership role aimed at driving revenue, product adoption, market growth, and customer satisfaction across Suzy's offerings.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies & campaigns for all product launches and feature updates. This includes positioning, value proposition and point of differentiation messaging as well as communication plans.
  • Drive usage and adoption by deeply understanding the customer journey, employing product-led growth strategies, and crafting targeted messaging for key audience segments.
  • Deliver on ARR and usage/adoption KPIs through go-to market strategies and campaigns. Use data to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, customer lifecycle management, and overall go-to-market strategy. Develop ongoing optimization plans for all marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure the seamless execution of go-to-market initiatives and alignment on product growth strategies.
  • Lead efforts to understand buyer personas and target audiences, ensuring our products meet their needs across all lifecycle stages by working closely with Product and Customer Success teams.
  • Use customer segmentation to drive strategies and automation tools to execute campaigns
  • In partnership with Product, establishing feedback loops from customer success teams, sales, and customer interactions to ensure the product roadmap and messaging are continuously optimized based on real-world customer needs and usage.
  • Serve as a product expert from the customer's point of view, ensuring the product's value is communicated clearly and resonates with the market.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of sales enablement materials and internal training programs to empower Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends and ensure our product positioning remains differentiated.
  • Translate product functionality into compelling marketing messages that drive sales, customer engagement, and product adoption.
  • Oversee the execution of customer lifecycle strategies, working closely with the VP, Marketing and Creative & Production teams to deliver key marketing assets. Collaborate on ABM efforts for cross-sell activities related to product selling.
  • Oversee two direct reports.

Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, B2B and SaaS or Software sectors is a requirement (Market Research experience a plus).
  • Proven track record in leading go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and driving product adoption and usage through a product-led growth approach.
  • 5+ years of management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, with a strong ability to collaborate with senior management, including Product, Sales, and Customer Success leadership.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet internal timelines, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort working with senior leadership teams.
