Job Spec: Our client is a strategic insights and analytics consultancy. Award-winning, they thrive on complexity but pride themselves on delivering simple, clear solutions to solve problems for commercial, social and government clients.
Their approach to problem-solving is tailored, brief-lead consulting, resulting in insights that directly inform clients' decisions across all business functions, from Brand and communications to pricing and Segmentation to Customer Experience, Innovation, and Customer Value Analysis.
Independently owned, they enjoy the autonomy that independence affords - the ability to pivot, launch and think with agility. A team of 60+, they're a national business with offices in Sydney and Melbourne and top-tier client partnerships.
The opportunity:
A Quantitative Associate Director is a senior figure in the business. You'll drive satisfaction by helping leading commercial and social clients answer their fundamental business questions via clever, precise consumer insights and strategic roadmaps.
You should be equally confident presenting to the c-suite as you are with complex survey design, analysis, reporting, and data triangulation. We're looking for seniors who love being hands-on in the craft just as much as leading clients and delivering insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee client partnerships and ensure success
- Immerse yourself in the client business to establish trust
- Confidently tackle complex, multidisciplinary research briefs
- Triangulate, synthesise and interpret data to uncover commercial outcomes
- Craft compelling narratives to drive action
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads to wins
- Lead pitches, proposals and grow clients
- Build and inspire the team, investing in their growth and development.
Desired candidate profile:- Significant experience in consulting, insights, or strategy - agency or clientside
- New business generator
- Experienced across a broad range of research applications
- A critical and strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- An expert storyteller, facilitator, and presenter
- A track record of winning stakeholder buy-in
- Authentic, down-to-earth - we not me personality
- Previous experience in building teams and people's careers.
All this is packaged with a designer workspace, state-of-the-art facilities, a progressive flexibility policy, additional annual leave, parental leave, best in industry training, mentoring, coaching, and a fun, dynamic and supportive culture.
