Job Spec: This is an outstanding opportunity to join a true success story of a research agency in the media, entertainment & sport space. With a wonderfully warm, supportive and genuinely caring culture, they have gone from strength to strength and their USP is to provide clarity to their clients' complex problems. This role is focused on two well-known and prestigious global clients, one in the media space and one in the sports space - along with a number of other smaller clients. It provides the opportunity to generate wide-ranging global insight which is used by senior executives - in the words of the team lead, their work goes far into these businesses.
This role has a strong ad hoc focus with a very wide range of client questions. Recent questions have included looking at specific movie positioning, looking at the most compelling messaging for an important anniversary for a key character, developing fan segments and understanding how fans engage with the sport - to name a few. There will also be a small amount of tracking in the role.
You will be very client facing in this role and will be involved in every aspect of the client work. There is plenty of scope for combining client data with your analysis.
This role will suit someone who loves to work really closely with their clients so they can understand their clients' businesses and really add value, and who has strong communication skills to work with a wide range of client stakeholders. It will appeal to someone who has strong attention to detail and great organsational skills. You will also need to be genuinely interested in media and sport, although you do not need sector experience (although this would be ideal).
This agency has a stand-out culture. Whilst they are clever and strategic, the people are very approachable as well as refreshingly straightforward and realistic. Clearly very successful and brilliant at what they do, they are down to earth and supportive. And they are serious about career progression. In their words, this role gives exposure to all aspects of research management so will be a great springboard to progression within the agency.
