Job Description

Forsta's rapid growth requires an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Your role will require and challenge you to:

• Manage Accounts Payable in Europe including posting of AP invoices managing workflow and reconciling ledgers each month.
• AR reconciliations.
• Weekly cash forecasting.
• Preparation of journals for payroll GL posting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations for multiple European entities.
• Setting up bank payments for AP invoices, payroll and other expenses.
• Payroll Germany and Sweden.
• Calculation and payment of VAT in Germany and Sweden.
• File EU report Sweden.
• Assist with online cash management portal project.
• Support accountants with audit deliverables for EMEA entities.
• Support the Controller ship team in the month end reporting process, including importing journal entries into Intacct and ensuring that balance sheet and other internal controls are maintained.
• Scope of work is largely European based, with some assistance in non-European entities as required.

Qualifications

• Part qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an international environment.
• Previous experience in financial/audit roles required.
• Familiarity with audit procedures.
• Sage Intacct and Agresso knowledge advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to hit the ground running.
• Project management skills.
