In Canada, communities specialist Maru/Matchbox has appointed customer insights strategist Jonathan Stinnett as President, Consumer Technology, Media & Entertainment.Matchbox was formed when MARU Group acquired the North American Research Consulting division of Vision Critical, in 2016. Stinnett (pictured) joins after four years at online community specialist C Space, where he served as VP and Managing Director of the New York office. Before this, he was Research & Insights Director at banking group Citi, where his achievements included creation of the Retail Research & Insights team, the development of a suite of customer research and marketplace intelligence services, and the launches of a mystery shopping program, social media monitoring services, and an online insights community. Earlier, he held senior roles at ad agencies TBWA Chiat Day, Gotham, and Euro RSCG.
In his new role, Stinnett will be responsible for one of Matchbox's fastest growing verticals. Maru Group CEO Ged Parton comments: 'I am delighted to welcome Jonathan to the team.
