In Australia, Omnicom analytics division Annalect has appointed Schalk van der Sandt as Head of its Melbourne operations.Annalect brings together digital and analytic experts from across Omnicom's specialty divisions. Services offered include media analytics, business intelligence, tools and dashboard systems, econometric modelling (Brand Science), search (Resolution Media) and a DSP trading and data management platform.
Van der Sandt (pictured) joins from sister agency PHD, where he has spent the past seven years as Head of Digital. He was previously Senior Digital Campaign Manager for Holland Financial Services, Digital Marketing Manager for All Sports, and Digital Marketing Manager for Readbet.com.au. In his new role, he will oversee a team of eight to bring data and technology solutions to clients across the PHD, OMD, and Hearts and Science agencies.
