In Canada, communities specialist Maru/Matchbox has appointed former Kantar TNS exec Mona Makhijani as Senior Vice President, Client Activation, based in its Vancouver office.Maru/Matchbox was formed when MARU Group acquired the North American Research Consulting division of Vision Critical, in 2016. Earlier this year, the firm launched a solution called Creative Insights, combining measurement of implicit and explicit advertising response with benchmarks, for a complete picture of ad impact.
Makhijani (pictured) joins after more than four years at Kantar TNS, where she served as SVP, Client Business Partner. Prior to this she held senior research positions at Ideate Strategies, Hall & Partners, McKinsey & Co, Ipsos-Reid, MaritzCX and Nielsen. She has more than 28 years' experience generating customer insight through research and analysis, with a particular focus on the technology and telecoms sector.
Commenting on the appointment, Daniel Finder, Maru/Matchbox President, International & CEO of Latin America, said: 'Mona is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills as well as an ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
