In Bonn, Germany, The infas Institute for Applied Social Science has appointed digital mobility research specialist Marc Schelewsky, strengthening its mobility and transport offering.Founded in 1959, infas is an independent social and market research institute serving corporate clients as well as those in science, federal and state administration and politics.
Schelewsky (pictured) joins from the Innovation Center for Mobility and Social Change (InnoZ) in Berlin, where his achievements included establishing the smartphone app Modalyzer, which tracks users' journeys and methods of transport.
In his new role, he will further expand the development and use of digital mobility measurement via smartphone app, for use in mobility and regional research as well for more general studies regarding everyday behaviour.
