In New York City, Merkle-owned digital marketing solutions company HelloWorld has appointed James Riess as SVP, Head of Strategy & Insights for Promotions and Loyalty Solutions.HelloWorld provides a range of strategic consulting, analytics and insights, UX and creative services, to help clients with promotions and loyalty program design, engagement strategies and marketing initiatives. Riess (pictured) joins from data-driven marketing agency Epsilon, where he served as SVP, Client Services; having previously been Head of Sales, North America at mobile marketing and ad platform InMobi. Earlier, he was EVP, Director of Client Service for Havas Worldwide; VP/Group Director of Marketing at Digitas; and VP Management Supervisor at Wunderman.
In his new role, Riess is a member of the senior leadership team reporting to Chris Wayman, EVP, GM, Client Services, who comments: 'HelloWorld's Strategy & Insights practice has experienced explosive growth over the past few years as brands place a high emphasis on loyalty and customer experience as part of their growth strategies.
