In California, former JWT Intelligence director Lucie Greene has launched a futures, research and brand strategy consultancy called Light Years.Greene (pictured) was previously Global Director of JWT Intelligence, the futures think tank at Wunderman Thompson, where she built and branded an international intelligence platform, adding global hubs and launching annual forecast 'The Future 100'. She previously worked at London-based trend consultancy The Future Laboratory, as Insight Editor of its research platform and membership product LSNGlobal.com.
Her new Los Angeles-based firm Light Years boasts core services including strategic research, innovation stimulus programs, brand strategy and creative incubation. The company has global capabilities and a worldwide network of experts in many fields, and has just launched its first forecast report: 'Light Years 2020', which covers emerging cultural trends, innovation and consumer behavior.
Commenting on the new firm's approach, Greene said: 'We draw on a wide variety of multisector, multimarket, thinkers, creatives and experts, synthesizing data, visual analysis, ethnographic research and more to create a rich, and nuanced picture of the future.
