In the UK, brand and communications research agency The Nursery has promoted five members of staff from Senior Research Executive to Research Manager, in its London office.The Nursery provides custom qual and quant brand strategy research, including employee mood studies, research among children, segmentations and advice for start-up businesses. Two years ago, the company launched Nursery Tracking Plus, to explain how marketing changes what people know and feel about a brand, and how they behave as a result. Then last year, the firm launched a new division called The Nursery Health, building on its experience working across the Rx, OTC and wellness sectors.
Sophie Marder joined in 2016 as a Research Assistant after studying psychology at the University of Reading; and she later moved into a qual research position, working across a range of categories. Kate Benson also joined in 2016, having previously worked for hospitality sector firm Quarter as Sales and Marketing Assistant. Francesca Harman began her career as an RE at insight firm Arkenford, prior to its acquisition by The Nursery in 2018; as did Natalie Webb, who joined Arkenford as an RE on student placement in 2013. Finally, Jane Passey joined The Nursery on an internship, in 2016 as Quantitative RE.
