In Australia, KPMG has added four people to its customer, brand and marketing advisory (CBMA) team, including Jenny Roche as a Partner, Amrita Bhattacharyya and Jingly McLay as Directors, and Samantha Clark. The team was formed in 2017 with the acquisition of MR firm Acuity, and immediately strengthened with senior personnel from Google and Virgin Australia. KPMG says the team will add twelve new roles in total across its Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide offices, and will grow to more than 130 people overall.
Roche joins from EY, where she was national leader of the customer advisory practice, and earlier spent fifteen years at Telstra, in roles including Head of Customer Experience. Bhattacharyya was previously Head of Customer Strategy and Experience at Suncorp, while McClay was previously Director of Business and Digital Strategy at Nous Group. The last two join in Melbourne, while Clark, formerly Group GM of Marketing Operations at Super Retail Group, joins the Brisbane office.
Partner in charge of the division Amanda Hicks, quoted on www.mumbrella.com.au , says Roche 'brings a unique perspective and unrivalled experience in helping organisations re-align towards their customer needs comments', and adds: 'With the addition of Amrita, Jinglu and Sam on the back of organic growth in 2019, we have an expanded national senior CBMA team that combines significant in-house experience with in-depth consulting know-how'.
