In the US, processing, data and technology provider Merkle Response Management Group (RMG) has promoted Bill Sayre to serve as its first Chief Executive.RMG, a subsidiary of data-driven performance marketing agency Merkle, combines direct response processing, customer care and fulfilment solutions with insights for clients across the non-profit, government and commercial sectors. Sayre (pictured) joined in 2001 as President, and has since played a part in supporting the company's growth, increasing profitability, and long-term retention of clients. In addition, he helped grow the company to more than 640 employees and build a portfolio of more than 200 clients. He previously spent more than thirteen years as a Senior Director at computer software business Reynolds and Reynolds.
In his new Hagerstown, Maryland-based role, Sayre will take on additional oversight for the company by helping to expand the service offering to clients and developing strategic partnerships. He reports to Merkle Chairman and CEO David Williams, who comments: 'I am extremely proud of the business that Bill has built during his time with RMG and want to recognize all that he has accomplished across the business. Merkle drives one-to-one relationships for an improved donor and customer experience, and Bill continues to ensure that we are providing our customers with the best service and insights possible'.
