Ad targeting and retargeting specialist Criteo has appointed Todd Parsons, co-founder of online metrics company BuzzLogic, as Chief Product Officer. He will be based in the firm's Paris office.Criteo combines predictive software and consumer intent / purchasing data to deliver targeted ads in real time, and has bolstered its offer with the acquisitions of BrandLogic and DataPop. In March, the firm launched a Traffic Generation solution, to help advertisers connect with new audiences while driving engagement and increased web site traffic.
Parsons (pictured) joins from adtech provider OpenX, where he served as Chief Product Officer, leading a global team; and before this, he held the same title at full-service ad agency SocialCode. Earlier, he led Acxiom's Marketing Services business, and founded two startups: Aditive (acquired by Axciom in 2014) and BuzzLogic.
In his new role, Parsons will lead and oversee Criteo's product design and innovation roadmap. CEO Megan Clarken comments: 'Todd comes to Criteo with a proven track record in building marketing solutions at the intersection of consumer identity and data. We're very excited to have him join and strengthen the caliber of our leadership team as we progress in our journey toward executing against our transformation plans'.
