Swedish eye tracking hardware and software developer Tobii AB has appointed Magdalena Rodell Andersson as Chief Financial Officer. She starts in January and replaces Johan Wilsby, who announced earlier this year that he would be stepping down.Rodell Andersson (pictured) joins from fuel company OKQ8 Scandinavia, where she served as CFO, prior to which she was CFO (and interim CEO) at garden superstore chain Platasjen, and also CFO and interim CEO at fashion brand Filippa K.
Wilsby will leave Tobii next month, and in the interim period Linda Tybring, currently CFO of the group's Dynavox division (which designs computers for people with special needs), will move up to the Group CFO role.
Henrik Eskilsson, CEO of Tobii Group, comments: 'Magdalena is a fantastic addition to the Tobii team, and we look forward to working closely together. She brings a wealth of experience in both the finance field as well as in general management and business operations development from many fields, which we will leverage to further improve our business'.
