AdTech Tracking Firm Swaarm Names First Chief Executive

Berlin, Germany-based tracking and optimization platform Swaarm has hired former HERE Technologies exec David Frei as its first Chief Executive Officer.

Launched in September, Swaarm has developed a data-driven platform to help agencies, advertisers and networks manage, track, analyse and optimize their marketing campaigns at scale. Last month, the firm raised EUR 800k in a seed funding round, which it will use to drive company growth. Frei (pictured) joins from location data and technology platform HERE, where he served as Senior Manager Business Development & Sales. Prior to this, he spent more than five years at management consultancy Roland Berger, managing projects for global companies across the transportation, logistics and infrastructure sectors.

In his new role, Frei will use his consulting and technology sales experience, to expand Swaarm's global businesses into new territories and markets, and help drive company growth.
