In the UK, software development company The Green Room has launched a digital market research company called The Green Room - Insights, focused on helping pharmaceutical companies conduct research with their stakeholders.Parent firm The Green Room offers a virtual collaboration platform combining videoconferencing, threaded chat, interactive surveys, live polling and brainstorming tools, among others. Users can move between different communication channels and use different collaboration tools on the one platform. Powered by this technology, the new insights company will use a variety of MR methodologies and techniques, and convert them for use in the virtual space, to help pharma firms and agencies improve the way they gather insights from their target audiences.
The business has been co-founded by Neil Rees, who previously held senior roles at OPEN Health Patient & Brand Communications, Kadence International, Hall & Partners and Huntsworth Health; and Bruce Ritchie, who earlier in his career was Marketing Director at Huntsworth Health and Senior Product Manager at Novartis. Their insights platform will be made available to pharma companies and business insight providers, to enable a more collaborative process through which to conduct meetings, fieldwork and ongoing project management.
Rees comments: 'Green Room - Insights is designed with the needs of the pharmaceutical market research industry at its core, creating a more user-friendly experience to develop and execute market research engagements. Rather than working with off-the-shelf solutions, I'm excited by how the platform can enhance the research experience for all involved, evolving with our users over time'.
