Tech buyer and seller marketplace Spiceworks Ziff Davis (SWZD) has launched a division called Aberdeen Strategy & Research, delivering insights into the business technology market. Robin Peto will lead it as Managing Director.SWZD provides intent data from buyers to tech brands through a combination of first- and third-party sources. The new Aberdeen Strategy & Research division includes industry analysts and research professionals and will expand the group's market research, content marketing and data intelligence offerings. Services include custom insights / surveys to inform internal strategy, including the testing of product concepts, messaging and audience profiling.
Peto (pictured) says the new division will help clients understand 'their markets, their audience and the competitive landscape to ultimately improve their marketing strategy', and give technology buyers 'relevant information and a comprehensive view of what's available in the market to facilitate good purchasing decisions'.
