KPMG Australia has shuffled the leadership team for its customer, brand and marketing advisory (CBMA) business, promoting Carmen Bekker to lead the expanded business.She replaces Amanda Hicks, recently appointed as the consulting group's National Managing Partner - Client Experience and Brand. Becker has more than twenty years' experience from work in Europe and Australia, and prior to joining KPMG / CBMA in 2017 worked as Management Partner and European Marketing Director for WPP's J Walter Thomson London - earlier she worked as Business Director at Saatchi & Saatchi in London and Sydney.
Her new team includes newly promoted Partner, and financial services specialist Ben Kilpatrick, social media and insights specialist Louise Pogmore, and payments and products advisory partner Brett Watson. The division was launched in June 2017 with the acquisition of MR firm Acuity, and immediately strengthened with senior personnel from Google and Virgin Australia. Services include customer transformation, experience, technology, sales and marketing transformation, customer intelligence, customer creative and design thinking / innovation - via a team of more than 100 people.
