In Sydney, Australia, insights consultancy Fiftyfive5 has hired long-time GfK exec Rob Highett-Smith for a newly created role, Head of Performance Measurement.Fiftyfive5 was launched in 2010 by three former Directors of The Leading Edge: Karen Phillips, Mark Sundquist and Darren Kemp, and eight years later merged with brand development and consumer insights agency GalKal. The Performance Measurement division is one of three core areas, encompassing brand and communications tracking, multi-market monitoring, CX and customer satisfaction measurement, and other longitudinal programmatic work.
Highett-Smith (pictured) joins to lead the division with more than twenty years' insights consulting experience. For the past eleven he worked for GfK, latterly as General Manager Consumer Research, Innovation and Partnerships. Earlier, he was an AD at Blue Moon Research, and he served as Research & Marketing Services Manager at Austar.
Commenting on the appointment, Kemp said: 'More than ever clients are looking to understand growth from their investment choices, optimizing spend with agility to gain competitive advantage. Rob joins a senior team of practitioners with a mandate to extend our double-digit growth in performance measurement, leveraging our suite of best practice tools and delivery mechanisms'.
