In the US, online communities and co-creation specialist KLC has appointed Dan Womack as company President. He will work alongside founder Kevin Lonnie, who will remain the company's CEO.KLC (formerly KL Communications) uses online communities to give brands on-demand access to their customers, and through its proprietary CrowdWeaving solution, clients can co-create with their ideal customers. Womack (pictured) joins with twenty years' experience of building and leading insights and research teams. He spent the past more than thirteen at health insurance provider Aflac, where he latterly served as Head of Market Insights. Earlier he served as Marketing Research & Strategy Leader at Genworth Financial and at General Electric, before which he was a Senior Analyst at AllPoints Research. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors Executive Committee for both the MRA and Insights Association.
In his new role, Womack will oversee daily operations and handle strategic sales and marketing initiatives. Commenting on the appointment, Lonnie said: 'Dan's invaluable experience running corporate insights functions adds a new level of client empathy to our team. With corporate insights departments under added pressure to do more with less, we believe that Dan's innate understanding of client needs will position KLC as the premier insight community provider in the industry'.
