Australia broadcaster Seven West Media has appointed former Nielsen Head of Research Solutions for APAC Craig Johnson as Head of Research and Insights, replacing Emelia Millward who is leaving the company and the country.According to www.mumbrella.com.au , Johnson will immediately join the Audience Intelligence team, focusing on measurement and analysis of audiences across all platforms, including broadcast television and online streaming on 7Plus. He joins from Nielsen where he was SVP - Global Business Partner Leader, embedded at Facebook's head office in California and overseeing the two firms' global alliance.
In his new role he reports to Director of Audience Intelligence Andrew Brain, who comments: 'Craig is an accomplished leader in data and his extensive background in media and previous senior roles at Nielsen across multiple territories will be a tremendous asset to Seven'.
