In the US, qual and quant provider Ironwood Insights Group (IIG) has appointed former ORC International SVP Brian Cash as Vice President of Research Services.IIG was formed in 2018, following the merger of Ironwood Insights with data collection and research services businesses Information Alliance. In 2019, the group acquired Saratoga Springs, UT-based data collection company Discovery Research Group (DRG), which provides a range of data collection methodologies for market research, healthcare follow up, customer loyalty, tracking and polling studies.
Cash (pictured) joins from full-service qual and quant agency research strategy group (rsg), where he managed the firm's Chicago office. During the thirteen years prior to this, he worked at ORC International (latterly Engine), most recently as SVP, Client Services. Earlier, he was Manager, Market Intelligence at RR Donnelley; VP at Inform Research & Marketing; and he was a Senior Research Consultant at Ameritech (now part of AT&T).
Commenting on the appointment, founder Brad Larson said: 'We are excited to have Brian coming on board. His focus will be helping clients solve their business issues through creative, pragmatic research design, execution and analysis. He brings a consultative approach and perspective grounded in years of experience from both the client and supplier sides of the insights industry.'
