In the US, shopper intelligence specialist Catalina has hired former Epsilon data chief Stacey Hawes as US Chief Revenue Officer, Direct & Channel Sales.
From its operations in the US, Costa Rica, Europe and Japan, Catalina delivers targeted in-store and digital media that personalizes the shopper journey, powered by its real-time shopper database. Two months ago, the firm partnered with out-of-home (OOH) buying program AdQuick to launch a purchase-based audience targeting and sales lift measurement insights service for OOH media buyers.
Hawes (pictured) joins after fifteen years at analytics company Epsilon, where she latterly served as President of the Data Practice, leading a team of more than 500 associates. In this role, she led the practice's digital transformation by developing new channels, and launching new products focused on AI and machine learning. Earlier roles at Epsilon included Chief Revenue Officer & EVP, Data Solutions; SVP Sales, Data Solutions; and VP, B2B Division. In the early 2000s, Hawes spent six years at DoubleClick in product and market management, before Google purchased the company in 2007.
At Catalina, Hawes reports to Kevin Hunter, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Innovation, who comments: 'As we advance our data and digital solutions to reflect the needs of the marketplace, it's equally important that we continue to evolve our go-to-market structure to maximize Catalina's opportunities for growth. In her new role, Stacey will lend her expertise and deep knowledge of data and digital solutions - and leverage her expansive industry relationships - to help accelerate our overall growth'.
