In the US, streaming TV measurement specialist Conviva has promoted Keith Zubchevich to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer.
Conviva says its platform processes nearly three trillion streaming data events daily, supporting more than 500 million unique viewers watching 200 billion streams per year across four billion applications streaming on devices. Powered by the firm's patented Stream Sensor (which provides continuous collection of every session) and Stream ID (which provides identity solutions using first-party data), the platform helps marketers, advertisers, tech ops, engineering and customer care teams to acquire, engage, monetize and retain their audiences.
Zubchevich (pictured) moves into the CEO position after nearly fourteen years with the company, having previously served as Chief Strategy Officer, responsible for product, marketing, corporate development and partnerships. He takes over from Bill Demas, who left in May. Prior to joining the company in 2018, Demas was CEO of shopping rewards app Shopkick (acquiredby Trax in 2019), and data management platform Turn (acquired by mobile ad targeting firm Amobee in 2017). According to LinkedIn, Demas will be launching a new business in next year's first quarter.
