North of England-based full service qual and quant agency Swift Research has appointed Tom Parkman as Head of Insight.
The firm's offices in Wetherby, near Leeds, include a CATI telephone research centre, a 'laundry lab' with washing machines / dryers for fragrance testing, and a separate viewing facility for qualitative research and training. The company also offers access to wet rooms for first-hand observational research into personal care products.
Parkman (pictured) joins from behavioural research specialist Irrational Agency where he served as an AD, prior to which he was Head of Research at news, training, events and data products provider TXF and Proximo Infra; and a Senior Researcher at ultra-high net worth investor Campden Wealth.
In a statement, Swift said that as well as heading up its research team, Parkham will be joining its senior management team and playing a 'pivotal role' in shaping the company's future.
