In the US, knowledge management platform Bloomfire has appointed Ben Little as Chief Executive Officer, as Mark Hammer moves to an advisory role, for personal reasons.
Teams using Bloomfire's platform can access their organization's collective intelligence in a centralized, searchable location for knowledge and insights. Last August, the firm raised a 'significant' amount of equity funding, which it is using to accelerate company growth and product innovation.
Little (pictured) joins with more than 25 years of experience leading technology companies. He was previously Chairman and CEO of wireless infrastructure provider Centerline Solutions, and before that held the same roles at digital marketing specialist Executive Media Network, leading the company through multiple acquisitions and international expansion. Earlier, he was SVP of Sales and Operations for HomeAdvisor.
Hammer joined the firm in 2014 as VP of Marketing, before being named COO a year later, then CEO three years ago. Commenting on Little's appointment, Aaron Davis, Director at Primus Capital and Bloomfire Board Member, said: 'Ben has a truly impressive track record of scaling high-growth companies and building teams and cultures that support the long-term needs of their customers and markets. We could not be more thrilled to have him lead Bloomfire into our next phase as a company'.
