Marcoms agency network Wunderman Thompson has promoted Tony Weber to the newly created role of Chief Data Officer, North America.
Weber (pictured) joined in 2017 to lead digital transformation initiatives for clients, helping them to extract maximum value from their data, and use business intelligence platforms for customer-focused decision-making. Earlier, he worked for Time Inc. as VP of Digital Marketing, Capabilities and Analytics; and he held roles including SVP - Digital Strategy at Possible Worldwide; and VP of Digital Strategy at iCrossing.
He reports to NA CEO, Audrey Melofchik. Commenting on the news, Weber said: 'I'm honoured to be granted the opportunity to lead the data team and drive growth for our offerings. I will draw on my experience in data, commerce, technology, and customer experience as a Solutions Partner within Wunderman Thompson to achieve these goals'.
