London-based mobile advertising platform Ogury has appointed former Criteo exec Geoffroy Martin as Chief Operating Officer, to lead the company's international expansion and oversee revenue, operations, product, technology and marketing. He is based in Paris.
Ogury's Personified Advertising Engine is built on more than seven years of mobile journey data gathered from opted-in users, for use in mobile web targeting initiatives, without the need for any personal identifiers. Resulting insights are mapped to web sites and apps, rather than to their visitors / users, and the technology doesn't rely on SDKs (software development kits) embedded in apps, or on cookies or userIDs.
Martin (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' senior leadership experience in technology companies, and has spent the bulk of his career in Silicon Valley. Most recently, he was General Manager and EVP of Growth Portfolio at ad targeting and retargeting specialist Criteo, before which he was CEO of online art retailer Art.com, where he worked for more than twelve years.
In his new role, Martin replaces Christophe Parcot, who took on the COO role less than a year ago. Martin will report directly to CEO Thomas Pasquet, who comments: 'Geoffroy joins Ogury with a stellar track record in organisational management within fast-growing companies and extensive knowledge of the AdTech industry. He is the perfect fit for this position and will play a key role in driving our growth in 2022 and beyond'.
