In Australia, media research specialist Xtra Insights has named Colleen Rolleston Coordinator of its Regional Radio Audience Measurement Survey (RRAMS), in charge of its radio audience measurement team.
The Brisbane-based company offers audience and customer insights and consulting, using digital and mobile technologies to conduct music and content research; and offers CATI room facilities and access to audience panels.
Rolleston (pictured) previously worked for media group Southern Cross Austereo, where as Head of CATI Research she managed various surveys across Australia. During this time, she supervised the introduction of the official Regional Radio Audience Measurement Surveys methodology. In her new role, Rolleston is tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of the RRAMS, liaising between Xtra Insights, Commercial Radio Australia and the various industry stakeholders.
Bethaney Lawler, General Manager of Xtra Insights, comments: 'Colleen has a wealth of knowledge and experience that she brings to Xtra, having played a key role in the management and supervision of the current Regional Radio Audience Measurement Surveys since their inception. Her experience and excellent understanding of the radio industry will ensure Xtra continues to deliver a high standard of research to regional broadcasters around the country'.
