empatiX Consulting Hires Engine's Emuoyibo as SVP

In the US, boutique agency empatiX Consulting has hired former ORC international / Engine director Okie Emuoyibo as Senior Vice President.

The firm, which was founded last year by former ORC International execs Brian Cruikshank and Jess Horkan, aims to inform strategy, innovation and design, and to provide activation to help clients drive their business forward. Emuoyibo (pictured) joins from Engine, where he served as SVP Insights, having previously spent nearly a decade at ORC International (prior to its takeover by Engine), latterly as Director of Training and Development. He began his MR career as Manager of Data Processing at ORC company Guideline.

In his new role, he will help further advance the firm's human-centered approach to strategy consulting, along with other methods; and will help expand its college / postgraduate program, using his own experience to train the next generation of strategy consultants. Commenting on the appointment, Horkan said: 'I have had the joy of collaborating with Okie. His multi-faceted experience helps to address the needs of clients today bringing forth a truly diverse skill set. Okie is relentless in solving complex problems in a meaningful way, pulling from his experience across strategy, insights, and technology'.
