In London, Kantar Public has hired former Alan Turing Institute exec Christine Foster for the newly created role of Global Chief Product Officer, Data Science.
Established in 2016, Kantar Public pools expertise from around the group to offer advice on the delivery of public policy, services and communications. Foster (pictured) joins from data science and artificial intelligence charity The Alan Turing Institute, where she served as Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to this she held senior positions in the commercial sector including at Liberty Global, American Express and EMI Music, where she built analytics teams and implemented predictive models.
In her new role, Foster will lead Kantar Public's international data science capabilities, working to integrate them with AI, the government open data asset, and classical approaches to survey data. Commenting on the appointment Michelle Harrison, Global CEO, said: 'In Christine we have found a leader who can operate across disciplinary boundaries to deliver gold standard evidence in new ways. We were very excited to find Christine and thrilled that she is joining us to lead this new paradigm in our 'Evidence' offer at Kantar Public'.
