In Manchester, UK, corporate reputation specialist Steve Leigh has opened a research, measurement and evaluation consultancy called Sensu. The firm promises to help clients understand their audience; track reputation, profile and influence; and improve the quality of communications.
Leigh (pictured) is a Director of B2B and B2C public relations consultancy PR Agency One, and the co-founder of corporate reputation research agency Reputation Consultancy. Earlier, he served as a Director at Citypress, Deputy MD of Weber Shandwick (North), and an AD at Harrison Cowley, in charge of the consultancy's Manchester office and clients. Based in MediaCity, his new firm focuses on helping organisations use insights from digital content, conversation and search, alongside traditional research.
Sensu's specialisms include designing and delivering campaign and PR measurement, evaluating the impact and ROI of PR and communications, benchmarking and tracking corporate reputation, and media intelligence. In addition, the firm will conduct customer research, employee satisfaction and engagement studies, and employer brand tracking - combining digital measurement tools with its own proprietary software.
'We've spent over a decade honing and perfecting our audience insight and reputation management tools', says Leigh, 'and felt that now is the right time to be launching our own standalone insight services. Bringing together the best of the digital tools on the market, underpinned by our own proprietary software, means that we can offer clients of all shapes and sizes, from small consultancies to multinational organisations, insight and consultancy on a level that has never before been possible'.
