In India, Omnicom-owned media agency network OMD has appointed former Nielsen / Millward Brown exec Charul Tomar as Head of Strategy, tasked with helping to drive the next stage of the company's growth in the region.
Tomar (pictured) joins with cross-functional experience in market research, insights and strategy, and media analytics. Most recently, she spent more than six years at WPP-owned media services agency Mindshare, latterly serving as Partner-Strategy. Prior to this she held senior research and project management roles at Nielsen, Millward Brown and Synovate.
She reports to Anisha Iyer, CEO of OMD India, who comments: 'Charul is a fine strategic leader and frontrunner when it comes to having a pulse on the confluence of consumer, brand and insights. I am certain that Charul's valuable expertise, combined with her drive and commitment, will help us take our offerings to new heights'.
