First-party data platform Dynata has appointed former employee Arun Kumar as Vice President, Southeast Asia and India, leading the business and teams across the region.
Dynata taps ongoing research relationships with nearly 70 million opted-in consumers around the world to compile data comprising thousands of attributes. Kumar (pictured) re-joins the company after a stint co-founding skin care company Earth Rhythm, before which he spent nearly eight years at Dynata, latterly as Country Manager for India. Earlier he was Head, Account Management - South at IMS Health; Director, Global Sales at Datamonitor; and Deputy Director, Sales at Frost & Sullivan.
In his new role, Kumar replaces Mani Padmanabhan, who is taking a break before moving to a new position. Commenting on Kumar's return, Dynata Asia Pacific MD James Burge said: 'Arun's track record of success, strong leadership and considerable experience mean he is well prepared for this key regional role. He has a clear vision for our growth across one of our most dynamic regions and will be building out our capabilities and teams to deliver on this potential for our clients'.
