US-based digital media measurement and analytics firm DoubleVerify (DV) has appointed former Quantcast exec Carolyn Watt as Vice President of Global Client Partnerships, based in London.
Acquired by private equity firm Providence Equity Partners in 2017, DV offers MRC-accredited software that verifies the quality and effectiveness of digital ads. Its DV Authentic Impression solution provides clients with a single KPI to ensure each ad impression is viewable, fraud-free and meets brand safety requirements; and the firm also offers a suite of media authentication services called IQ Advanced Solutions, to increase the transparency and performance of video and display advertising across mobile and desktop platforms.
Watt (pictured) previously worked at AI-driven behavioural data specialist Quantcast, serving as Global Head of Strategy and Innovation. Earlier in her career she worked for WPP media agency MindShare as Business Director - SEO, Digital PR and Social Media; and she was Client Services Director at search optimisation and brand positioning firm Netrank (acquired by digital agency LBi in 2008).
In her new role, Watt will be responsible for cultivating relationships with the company's largest global customers; and leading the global, regional and local teams. James Cashmore, SVP Global Client and Agency Partnerships, comments: 'Customer relationships sit at the core of our operations at DV. Carolyn is an unparalleled leader in this area, and I am very excited to have her at the helm of DV's client partnerships, where she will drive customer success across our global, regional and local markets'.
