Digital experience consultancy Bounteous has brought in former Merkle executive Michael McLaren to serve as President, North America.
Bounteous assists clients via 'co-innovation' with strategy, experience design, technology, analytics and insight, and marketing. Since raising an undisclosed amount of investment from New Mountain Capital a year ago, the company has opened an office in Denver and a division in India; hired MDs in Chicago and elsewhere in the US; and acquired Chennai, India-based digital transformation consultancy Lister Digital.
McLaren (pictured) joins from Merkle where he was Global CEO of the B2B Group. He joined Merkle nearly five years ago after a seventeen-year career at ad agency McCann, originally as worldwide director for the Microsoft account, later as President and Regional Director Asia Pacific and CEo for Japan. Latterly he was President and CEO of marketing agency MRM//McCann.
In his new role he will drive the company's growth, identifying new strategic capabilities and building centers of excellence.
