US-based insights and consulting firm Directions has hired Stacey Wetterer for a newly created role, Senior Vice President - Talent Acquisition and Professional Development.
Cincinnati, Ohio-based Directions, which has regional offices around the US, provides qual and quant research and management consulting solutions across a broad range of sectors - from CPG and financial services to pharma and telecoms. The group comprises three brands: Directions, qualitative insights and innovation consultancy SEEK, and agri-food value chain intelligence firm Aimpoint Research.
Wetterer (pictured) joins after seventeen years at corporate identity uniform and business supplies manufacturer Cintas Corporation, where she most recently served as Director of Training and Compliance. Earlier at the firm, she was National Sales Training Director, facilitating sales training courses and developing training content, tools, and marketing resources for more than 1800 sales representatives. She also created a centralized 'Target School Recruitment' strategy, and led a team of nine talent acquisition managers nationally.
In her new role, Wetterer will lead the HR team, using her background to strengthen Direction's processes for hiring new staff and implementing a companywide professional development and training program. She will report to President and CEO Jim Lane, who comments: 'Stacey will have a direct impact on who we are as a mid-sized employer. Her level of professionalism, passion for people, intellectual skill set and the high level of energy she exudes every day will only add to the success of our three brands.'
