WPP-owned marcoms network Wunderman Thompson has appointed Preeya Vyas as Global Chief Experience Officer, to lead its Customer Experience (CX) practice. She will be based in New York.
Vyas (pictured) joins from ad and PR agency DeVito/Verdi, where she served as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer. Before this, she spent nearly six years at Saatchi & Saatchi, where she latterly worked as Chief Experience Officer; and she was Group Director Digital Strategy at ad agency mcgarrybowen, working to develop the agency's overall Experience Strategy offering. Earlier, she worked for Wunderman as VP, Planning Director - Strategic Planning; and she co-founded media and ad technology company Xposure.
In her new post, Vyas will work across the network's strategic, creative, technology and data leadership team, to help design and deliver experiences, products and services to drive growth for clients.
