Canada-based holding company Rival Group has appointed long-time Mintel exec Shawn Vaughn as Chief Growth Officer, leading Go-To-Market teams across both its mobile-first insight community platform Rival Technologies and its experiential insight specialist Reach3 Insights.
Rival Group (formerly Reid Campbell Group) was founded in 2018 by former Millward Brown Global CEO Eileen Campbell, Vision Critical founder and CEO Andrew Reid and his sister Jennifer Reid, as a next-gen consumer insights engine. Vaughn (pictured) joins in Chicago from Mintel International Group, where he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer for the Americas. Earlier he was EVP of Sales and Client Services at MR and analytics company Gutcheck, having begun his MR career with more than thirteen years at Mintel.
